So, I’m super late to post this, but I’m nonetheless excited to share with you one of my favorite weddings from last year. This BEAUTIFUL winter wedding was nothing short of magic. Chris and Emery met in college and have journeyed together through grad school and jobs and after years of love and support, tied the knot in December of last year. Chris happens to be the Governor’s nephew, and lucky for these two Governor McCrory was kind enough to open up his home for Chris and Emery’s celebration. The Executive Mansion was decked out for the holidays – giant Christmas trees, lights everywhere, wreaths galore…it was amazing! Emery and Chris added some personal touches with soft, neutral florals, custom Christmas ornaments, the couple’s favorite ice cream sandwiches for a late night snack and a snow machine exit to end all exits. One of my favorite moments was when santa hats were passed out on the dance floor – the most festive sea of dancing Santas you’ve ever seen! I loved working with these two kind souls so much, and capturing their beautiful bond was truly an honor. Here are some of my favorite moments from this day!
HUGE thanks to my friend and super talented photographer, Caroline Lima, for helping me capture this one!
