Europe Travel Log :: Part One, Croatia!

First stop :: Chicago! If you know me, you know I am a hot dog fanatic. So, when we were up in Chicago photographing a wedding before we left for Europe the first item on my agenda was finding a legit Chicago dog. Yum, yum, yum is all I have to say. We found what we were looking for at Portillo’s in downtown Chicago. While the Surfer Dog from Trolly Stop in NC will always be my #1 choice with it’s gooey cheese, bacon bits and amazing bun, this Chicago dog won’t far fall behind.

Ok, America, we’re done with you already – let’s go to Europe!

First stop in Europe was Croatia – Dubrovnik and Hvar Island. Here are some sights in Croatia followed by some yummy yummies.

Croatia is full of the freshest seafood, yummy pastries and lots of delicious, authentic Italian food. I can’t even try to explain how delicious the seafood is – so much better than anything I’ve had over here.
