Oh man am I excited to share Natalie and Cullen’s engagement session with you this evening! What an amazing pair these two are. Natalie and Cullen made my job so easy during this session, and I just had a blast hopping around Magnolia Ave. and the Fort Worth Stockyards for these photos! We ended their session in a dreamy field with those beautiful Texas wildflowers. Natalie and Cullen, you two are so wonderful and I am so honored to have been able to capture even just a little bit of what I can easily see between you two. I’m so excited to photograph your wedding – November can’t come soon enough!

Hooray for this beautiful Wilmington wedding post on this super dreary day in Chapel Hill today. I hope Jamie and Clint’s lovely summer wedding can bring you as much warmth today as it does me. Jamie and Clint were married in September in downtown Wilmington, NC – one of my favorite places on earth. These two are such a fantastic couple, and I’m so honored to have been able to capture their day. And, I am completely obsessed with Jamie’s dreamy gown. Have you ever seen anything prettier and more fitting for this gorgeous bride? Every detail of this wedding was unique to Jamie and Clint and allowed them to share pieces of their beautiful relationship with their guests – from the sushi that was ‘a favorite date night food’ for these two to the personal photos arranged on each table, everything spoke volumes about these two and their love for each other. I am so excited today to share with you all the new albums from Anna Routh Photography! I finally found (thanks to dear friends of mine and fellow photographers) an album company that I’m psyched to be working with. It is so easy to underestimate the value of shared information and, most importantly, information shared between photographers. We’ve all experienced different services, equipment, clients, etc., and the more we share that information with each other, the more we learn and the more we all succeed – It’s a win-win, right? I’m so grateful for the network of photog friends I have here in Chapel Hill (and nationwide!), and I feel honored to count these guys and gals as my colleagues and friends. So, back to the albums – aren’t they gorgeous? These are 10″ x 10,” flush mount books with two binding options – Italian grade leather or fine Japanes silk/fabric. The album photographed below is wrapped with an organic linen for a natural look which I love. Not only are the books totally handemade, but your photos are printed on the finest Fuji crystal archival paper – just beautful! I’m so excited to now be able to offer these albums to my clients as a keepsake and a lovely, classic piece that will allow them to enjoy their images (in print!) forever. Can you tell I’m in love with the books, or what?

Blaire and Nick were married this weekend and you know what that means…it’s time to share these beautiful bridal portraits with you finally! First I must say, how beautiful is this girl? Blaire’s dress had the loveliest scalloped layers of lace, and the hair and make up was just perfection – reminds me of that Hollywood glamour! We shot Blaire’s portraits at the Fort Worth Botanic Gardens which is a favorite spot of mine for portraits. It was a beautiful day and Blaire was a stunning bride – what more could I ask for? Here are some of my favorites.

Sarah and Chase got married last weekend – wooowee! They tied the knot at a beautiful ceremony at Church of the Incarnation, followed by an unbelievable party at the Dallas Arboretum. So excited to share their day with you soon, but even more excited to finally be able to share Sarah’s bridal portraits with you today! We photographed Sarah (and her sweet pup Susie) at the Dallas Arboretum. We finished our session at one of Sarah’s favorite spots to grab drinks with her hubby – Tried and True. Ken and Jennie :: Chapel Hill, North Carolina Wedding Photographer

Going through this edit from Ken and Jennie’s beautiful fall wedding (those leaves!) makes me want to go back and relive this lovely evening over again. Ken and Jennie were married in November at Fearrington Barn on a cool, crisp fall evening. Although it was a little chilly, these two decided to brave the cold and go through with their dream of an outdoor ceremony! I’m super glad they did because the garden at Fearrington was a perfect place for these two to share their vows and start their life together. Ken and Jennie’s wedding was full of beautiful fall florals, laughter, delicious eats, blue grass and dancing, dancing, dancing! I loved spending the day with Ken and Jennie, and I’m excited to share this sweet wedding with you today!

I’m so excited to share Ross & Elise’s super fun Fort Worth wedding with you all today. Still catching up on blogging, so you’re enjoying this September wedding only 6 months later . Better late than never! Ross and Elise are proud Texans. When planning their wedding, the most important thing, besides throwing a killer party for their friends and family, was wearing their boots and dancing the night away. Elise and Ross got married in the same church as Elise’s parents in downtown Fort Worth, and the reception that followed was a true ranch affair, complete with barbecue, country music and s’mores!
