So, now that I’ve figured out how to blog super duper fast, I’m about to get wild with this thing! Today I’ve got a sweet Raleigh engagement session for you. Quint and Brandy wanted to meet at their first date spot to snap some photos – Lincoln Theater. It’s always important to me to choose locations that mean something to my clients, and this spot couldn’t have been more perfect! These two trooped through a chilly morning with no problem, and I think it’s because they were so darn cute together. We finished up in Downtown Raleigh which was a great spot! I’m so excited to be working with these two who made our session really fun, and I can’t wait for the big day this spring!
How happy are these two? And, what a beautiful bride! Sonny and Yvonne tied the knot this summer in Fort Worth at Shady Oaks Country Club. These two were so laid back, fun and so unbelievably happy to be bringing their lives together. Their sunset ceremony overlooking the gold course was beautiful and filled with sweet moments that included Sonny’s son who escorted Yvonne down the aisle, and his beautiful daughter. The ceremony was followed by a beautiful evening filled with jazz, delicious southern fare and lots of love. Congratulations, Yvonne and Sonny!

Julie and George are the cutest. Period. I am so excited to be working with these two and to be able to photograph their wedding in May! Julie and George kept eachother (and me) laughing during the entire session. I could’ve hung out with these two for hours. Julie’s sweet smile and George’s doting eyes were so fun to capture. It’s so refreshing to see a couple so happy together and having so much fun just being together. We shot these along Franklin St. in Chapel Hill and on the UNC-Chapel Hill campus. Here are a few of my favorite – can’t wait to photograph the big day this spring!
I met this group of Basset Hound mixes last week, and I knew I had to photograph them! Those big eyes, and those chubby short legs just make me melt. These four are the same age – about a year – and they are all equally sweet. A couple of these girls are quite vocal too, so if you’re looking for a doggie to hold down the fort for you while you’re gone, they’ll handle things for you!
Starr was a little more timid and reserved than the other ladies, but equally as sweet and eager to get to know me.
If you think you could be a loving parent to one of these sweet girls, head over to Orange County Animal Services and take them home!

Sweet Allie got married this weekend in Dallas. Congratulations, you two! Now, I get to post her fun bridal session that we shot at the Dallas Arboretum a few weeks ago. Allie wore her grandmother’s dress and veil, and she had a bouquet made from her grandmother’s broaches. She looked stunning in this vintage stunner and the bouquet was a stunning creation! I also loved that Allie made this look her own by throwing on her favorite cowboy boots. Allie actually set up this bridal session as a secret gift for her mom and presented her mom with the portrait on the wedding day. What a sweet daughter and a perfect gift! I’m excited to share a few of my favorites from our session.
